With Week 2 upon us, I thought I’d make it a routine of putting out my weekly picks ahead of Thursday Night Football.
Thursday Night Football
0-1 Cincinnati Bengals over 0-1 Cleveland Browns (-6)
Browns looked really dysfunctional last week and I don’t believe in Baker. 20-14 Bengals
Sunday
0-1 Atlanta Falcons over 0-1 Dallas Cowboys (-4)
I don’t see the Cowboys defense stopping the Atlanta air attack. 35-30 Atlanta
0-1 San Francisco 49ers (-7) over 0-1 New York Jets
The Niners are banged up at CB and George Kittle is questionable, but it’s still the Jets. 24-14 49ers
1-0 Los Angeles Rams over 0-1 Philadelphia Eagles (-1)
I like Carson Wentz, but with a banged up OL and the presence of Jalen Ramsey, I prefer the Rams. 17-13 Rams
1-0 Chicago Bears (-5.5) over 0-1 New York Giants
The Bears defense underperformed last week, but they still pose a tough threat against the anemic offense of the Giants. 17-10 Bears
1-0 Green Bay Packers (-6) over 0-1 Detroit Lions
I don’t wanna hop off the Lions hype train, but A-Rod looked phenomenal last week. 30-20 Packers
1-0 Tennessee Titans (-8.5) over 1-0 Jacksonville Jaguars
Minshew Mania may roll on, but so will Derrick Henry over a weak Jacksonville defense. 24-14 Titans
0-1 Minnesota Vikings over 0-1 Indianapolis Colts (-3)
Both teams coming off disappointing losses, I like Captain Kirk to rally the troops. 20-17 Vikings
1-0 Buffalo Bills (-5.5) over 0-1 Miami Dolphins
The Bills made a lot of mistakes last week, but still dominated the Jets. 29-10 Bills
0-1 Denver Broncos over 1-0 Pittsburgh Steelers (-7.5)
The Broncos fell short on Monday night, while the Steelers were victorious… flip that script! 26-20 Broncos
0-1 Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-8.5) over 0-1 Carolina Panthers
Tom and Tampa couldn’t keep up with New Orleans, but expect a bounce back against a talent-deficient Carolina team. 31-17 Buccaneers
1-0 Arizona Cardinals (-6.5) over 1-0 Washington Football Team
I’m a massive Cardinals believer, so give me Kyler Murray and co. with a big win. 45-14 Cardinals
1-0 Baltimore Ravens (-7) over 0-1 Houston Texans
The Ravens are such a better team than the Texans, this seems like an easy pick. 33-10 Ravens
1-0 Kansas City Chiefs (-8.5) over 1-0 Los Angeles Chargers
The Chiefs high-powered offense gets a test against a talented Chargers defense, but they pull out the victory. 24-18 Chiefs
1-0 Seattle Seahawks (-3.5) over 1-0 New England Patriots
One of the best matchups of the week, Russell Wilson is able to get enough done against a formidable Patriots defense. 24-23 Seahawks
Monday Night Football
1-0 New Orleans Saints (-6) over 1-0 Las Vegas Raiders
To finish off the week, my Super Bowl champions head to the “Death Star” to try and stop the red-hot Josh Jacobs. 32-24 Saints
If you’ve made it this far, thanks for reading! Do you agree or disagree with my picks? Can Cleveland bounce back on TNF? Will Cam lead New England to a statement win over Seattle? How bad will the Jets lose? Let me know your thoughts in the comments down below!
